This looks like something out of a video game. I'd like to see it (and the sleeveless tie-dyed lace shirt) on someone.

D: eh videogames, noo.

They were both made for my body type- I can send just you people pictures, if you want.
(if you remind me later :P)

Okay. : D

I love videogame outfit designs, though, so it wasn't a negative comment. Character design in videogaming is the most interesting part.

It makes me feel like I'm making cheesy cosplay shit, though.

What has you thinking cosplay is cheesy? Most fans don't know what they're doing, but there is an art to it. I'm not even a cosplayer myself, but that's how I feel. (Have you seen some of the beauties floating around dA? Link, Midna, Witch Hunter Robin...)

What makes a good cosplay legitimate is when it's designed as if the character were real and not from a videogame or cartoon. That is, when the clothing looks like actual clothing as opposed to unrealistically colorful patches of (often cheap) material strewn together. :boing:
:iconthe-fern:
I don't mean all cosplay, I just think the majority of it ends up being tacky kids who shame the people who put work into their garments.
The good Link on DA is pretty awesome.

I respect if people want to make real costumes, but I don't usually see it pan out that way.

why do you call it a "Jupiter" jumper? It does not remind me of the planet.

I enjoy naming things a certain way, not really at all related to what they are.

It's a habit.
